This morning, our BridgeBuilders work team hosted an open house for all of our partner agencies in our WORK program's new space. There was a wonderful turn out of many friends and partners, old and new. Breakfast tacos from Taqueria La Ventana and plentiful coffee greeted our guests as they came into our new offices. After a short meet and greet, our president, Michael Craven, spent a few moments sharing about the reasons for moving from West Dallas to South Dallas, the goodness of God for opening an opportunity in South Dallas after four years of searching for a South Dallas location, and our excitement to be much closer to the core of urban poverty in our city. Now instead of nearly an hour bus ride, our clients will only have a 15-minute commute for life-skills class and the wrap-around services offered by our WORK team.
To our partners, we are so grateful for the excellent work you do in serving the needs of the poor in our city. Without you, we would not be able to make our vision of making poverty history a reality in the lives of those we serve.
If you are interested in seeing our new space or would like to refer people to our 3-week life-skills class, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
