The Hope Commitment
The Hope Commitment is a three-year giving community designed to sustain and expand the mission of BridgeBuilders in South Dallas. Members of the Hope Commitment invest annually over three years, joining a structured community of support that contributes a combined $650,000 annually to strengthen BridgeBuilders’ programs and services.
Sustained giving enables BridgeBuilders to meet urgent needs today while establishing programs that build long-term stability. The three-year format ensures consistency in operations and deepens relationships between BridgeBuilders and its core supporters.
The Hope Commitment Experience
Donors in the Hope Commitment are engaged through a series of quarterly events and experiences designed to foster transparency, connection, and shared vision.
March – Founder’s Day
A public-facing celebration of the organization’s founding, focused on the legacy of BridgeBuilders and the community it serves.May – BridgeBuilders Roundtable
A collaborative discussion between staff, board members, and major supporters. This event provides space for open dialogue about current challenges, strategic direction, and future initiatives.September – Founder’s Legacy Dinner
A private gathering of major donors. This event includes updates from leadership and previews of upcoming priorities. Timed to align with North Texas Giving Day.November – Stories of Hope Luncheon
A partner-only event focused on direct impact. Staff, youth, and neighbors share personal stories that reflect the outcomes of BridgeBuilders’ work.

The BridgeBuilders Advisory Board is an informal group of key supporters who offer feedback on strategic initiatives, help expand organizational relationships, and serve as thought partners in the work. Advisory Board members are invited based on their giving level and engagement history.

The Legacy Donor Plaque is a permanent fixture at the Ideal Community campus. It recognizes individuals and organizations whose support has played a key role in shaping BridgeBuilders’ future. Each engraved name represents a commitment to the mission and people of South Dallas.
